I've always imagined a skit where a player character argues over the rules with the DM on how that should be ruled.
PC: "okay, he says he can't be killed by a man, but my character isn't a man!"
DM: "In the setting and history, the 'race of men' refers to both men and women! It is a distinction of being mortal, not a particular gender!"
PC: "oh, so he can be killed by an elf man!?"
DM: "No! An elf man is still a man!"
And shenanigans like that
The book and to a lesser extent film does this sorta. Merry stabs the Witch King with his elven dagger which is magic and makes the Witch King vulnerable. So it's an assisted kill with a woman from the race of Men and a male from the race of Hobbits (who are technically Men, but good enough)
PC: "But but... You just said that MAN is the race of men"
DM: "I hate you"
This feels tagline worthy. I love it. I laughed a lot.
I read that Peter Jackson studied a whole bunch of real implosions in order to perfectly capture what it feels like to accidentally misgender someone
i remember that meme about how when you were younger you lusted after Legolas, then when you got older you moved to Aragorn and now as an adult you finally realised that Arwen is definitely Luthien reborn and you had no chance 
Honestly none of them ever really did anything for me. I almost exclusively have a thing for women, and Arwen was never really my type.
