Look at the history of Liberia for example, where freed African American and Afro Caribbean people proceeded to form their own cultural identity and colonised a part of Africa. Communitarian ideologies based around race or gender identity cannot be a substitute for the absence of a socialist ideology in the working class. This is true for even the most radical of communities.
