It's been debunked multiple times over the last quarter century. Every time people kinda forget because it feels like recycling should be a good thing, and everyone just goes back to pretending it is. ☹️

No doubt. All I can hope for is more tech companies get the kind of backlash Unity saw when they decided to screw everyone over.

Same reason lots of us moved here from Reddit.

Because Enshittification

The 2022 Qatar World Cup was built largely by slaves, hundreds of whom died in the process. Nobody held them to account, so why wouldn't they go to MBS's Saudi Arabia?

Still own mine... It failed because Sega was terrible at marketing their consoles.

Sega Master System, Sega CD, Game Gear, and Dreamcast were all better than their competitors when they came out, but they were all pretty big flops comparatively.

When Mozilla reviewed cars for privacy, they all failed... But only Nissan had TOS that said they'd monitor and sell your sex data.
