This is weird because Pattinson is already Bruce Wayne

They literally did, they were fundamental in the operation of the Nazi war crime economy. Hence "set the standard", because worked with the Nazis but denied it first.

The proud swiss people have never historically tolerated or collaborated with Nazism! I swear, don't even bother looking it up.

Hopefully this bears fruit! As much as we like to ooh and ahh at dudes in modern military gear fighting with medieval polearms, we would all be better off with closer Chinese-Indian relations.

In the future though, if socialist nations must ever go to military conflict with each other, they should follow the no explosives, no gunpowder rules.

Oh, fucking shit, we were the bad guys the whole time and I'll need to rethink everything I've ever been taught or thought about the country that I grew up in."

This is a thing that absolutely happens to US imperialist soldiers - I know one who became such a dedicated anti-imperialistand communist while in the military that he was court martialed and dishonorably discharged. And plenty of folks (by no means a majority though) eventually come to develop a decent understanding of imperialism and their role in it. Does that just not happen in Israel?

You have to imagine at least some of these people feel terrible guilt for what they're being asked to do, right?

he was alone

Worth noting he was not alone, he was with a small squadron of fighters. Which I think enhances your point: he was actively engaged in front line fighting, seeking out the enemy alongside his comrades.

Also Jill Stein got arrested at an anti-genocide protest this year, which is pretty cool.

Same goes for Claudia though

We are constantly told that solutions to some of the greatest challenges facing poor and working class people in the U.S. do not exist. Meanwhile, billions taxpayer dollars are being used to fund the genocide of Palestinians.

That very money could have ended homelessness in the United States.

Money for our needs, not the U.S.-Israeli war machine!

I'd been thinking Telegram would be a sufficiently secure alternative, but as Western intelligence gets their hooks into that system I think we need to go self-hosted. Element is the biggest name here, but I'm curious what options are the best for a combination of both security and feature maturity.
