Right, that makes a lot of sense. Do you personally prefer for people to use "comrade" when referring to you in the third person though? If you don't think pronouns play a role in your self perception, are you ok with whatever? They/them?

I am an odd duck that has rarely cared what people refer to me by, whether it's pronouns or formal name. Yeah, I am generally okay with whatever so long as the person is using the chosen label respectfully. I can DM you more info if you're curious, but to be concise I'll say I have always perceived myself as myself, and have never found labels adequate enough for me to see myself as anything else.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I'm the child of immigrant parents who will still occasionally misgender me, not out of malice, but because they aren't always great with English pronouns. I don't care and I'm cool with people just calling me comrade.

Initially was an opsec thing, though, but I've admitted I'm a dirty cishet man already.
