Doesn't FDroid still not allow automatic updates due to restrictions in Android?

Meanwhile yes the Samsung galaxy store has extra power over other store alternatives because they are a powerful OEM and can modify Android as they like.

Other OEMs (ones that are often not able to use Play Services) also have their own 1st party app store. Amazon is one, but many others exist in China.

Certainly not blaming the parents, glad it happened. Shame it had to happen. Confusing it happened in this way...

Doesn't this kids parents pay for it? How else does he get "allowance"?

I know another way parents can contribute to the so-called lunch debt...

Your late reply made me realize I replied to the entirely wrong comment and yeah I make no sense.

I meant to reply to the farming comment mentioning insane mixed units like Liters per Acre

What a great snapshot of life in Canada

My last city was always quick to point out that the (poor) bus service was not profitable and didn't warrant any new investment.

But, the entire road system isn't profitable. Especially the cul-de-sac in front of your house. But we all agreed it was "worth it" for our taxes to fund thatq because of the obvious benefits of getting goods and people around the city.

Transit should be no different. A service we pay for through our taxes. Not a profit seeking business.

You were on imgur before reddit? What was it like? With all the posts without context?

What you call politics (US political "issues") and politicking (the act of seeking and organizing power or influence) are different things.

Maybe US political issues have no spot in tech but politics are a part of being human.

Wow, you came to the Jellyfin community to write a long comment saying "I don't know what this is and I don't care"?

You don't have to care!

That's an awfully kind response to someone who decided hate was on the menu today...

The world needs more people like you :)
