Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is fun and charming. You can link yourself to a wall-climbing spider and get basically anywhere on the map way too early! You can run around on the treetops! You can sic crows on your enemies to steal their rupees!

The environmental and dungeon puzzles are great for playing with family as everyone gets to suggest various combinations combination of tables/beds/boulders/trampolines/decorative shrubs to get you where you need to go.

It's gonna be "Edge" as people start to suffer cloud and subscription fatigue. When "services" revenue begins to flag, companies will try to get customers back on the hardware treadmill

(This is obviously just my wishful thinking)

You're still gonna get Tutorialized™ every time there's a new type of Pikmin or new mechanic, but eventually, it runs out of things to introduce. Everything after that is unfiltered good stuff. There are some tough challenges, but as always, the greatest challenge is the knowledge that you can probably just barely fit one more thing in today if you time everything juuuust right

I introduced the kids to Vampire Survivors which means I had to demonstrate Vampire Survivors so now I’m back to playing Vampire Survivors.

In turn, my daughter introduced me to Monster Train, which is just as good as everyone says and a great fit for tablet gameplay.

As it turns out, your foot size can change over the course of your life. Who knew? If you've been wearing the same shoe size for years, it's worth double-checking that they still fit properly so that you don't screw up your feet and require months of recovery hahaha fml

  • When you have running or athletic shoes on, you should have about a thumb's worth of space between your longest toe and the tip of the shoe
  • When you put all your weight on your foot, the upper part of the shoe shouldn't bulge out on the sides. If it does, you need either a wider size or a size up
  • Your feet expand throughout the day, so that's the best time to check
  • Your feet are slightly different sizes, so check both
  • You can add arch support with insoles if needed

Those are the basics, but there's more info here: https://www.asics.com/nz/en-nz/mk/choosing-the-right-running-shoe/finding-the-right-fit

Also, if anyone needs some men's 10.5 shoes, I have a bunch for you

I just wanna grill ‘em all for god’s sake

Development activity had slowed to a trickle, and the project owner and lead developer is now stepping away. The flagship instance, firefish.social, doesn't seem to be working anymore. It looks like many Firefish instances are planning on migrating to other Misskey forks like Sharkey.

It's a bummer to see this. Firefish had a decent amount of hype around it for a minute, and the UI and feature set are nice.
