Most of the complaints I've heard about British tourists is because of the rampant alcoholism rather than a general attitude

Attendance affecting grade does suck. I got my degree on 30% average attendance.

I have been able to teach myself most of the subject matter by reading the textbook and doing the homeworks.

Isn't that just how it's supposed to work? Lectures are for reinforcement and clarification, they're not there to teach you the course by themselves.

Sure, but you still contribute to the creation of the dangerous situation. When you bait someone you know has a short tempter into lashing out, it is ultimately their action and their responsibility, but it's still not a good thing to do.

You don't actually have to do the housing bit either, just grant licenses to subdivide existing houses near the factories

It's like, okay, first of all I see plenty of male teachers around

My primary school didn't have a single male teacher, and my secondary school had I think three out of fifty or so, and it's not an isolated experience in the UK (the secondary school was a little unusual. )

Apparently, 76% of teachers in the UK are women, and 25% of schools have no male teachers at all.
