The US DOE says about 16 TWh which sounds more reasonable for a population of ~11 million.
2GW times 24 hours time 365 days times a capacity factor of 20 percent is an annual production of 3.5 TWh so the planned solar farms would cover about 20 percent of annual usage
No idea why the numbers are so different. The numbers I found were 120 GWh (not MWh, it was a typo). But that is still significantly less than the us doe estimate.

Take Cuba off the state sponsors of terror list, Biden. We're not asking you to nationalize industries or end all wars. Just write a little note that costs you or your country nothing and will save thousands of lives. There was literally no factual basis for putting them on the list, it was Trump on his way out. A better comparison might be to the capitalist Dominican Republic, which is a very similar country both in culture and history. Cuba's nominal and PPP per capita GDP are very similar, and they have similar HDI.
