I think it's more that they hate that someone actually does hate fascism, because it makes their own enabling of fascism look bad.
Thinking it's acceptable to use force to defend yourself and others from fascism? That's horseshoe tankie fascism.
The people with real morals sit and watch as fascism engulfs their entire society and engages in genocide while telling people to 
more.

Leftism is so bogged down in litigating the legacy of a bunch of guys who died before all of us were even born for how they handled a completely incomparable political situation, I fully understand WHY we have to have these discussions ad nauseum, but it just makes me sad because communism is first and foremost supposed to be a FORWARD looking project
