Firefox is an awesome Browser platform. Its not perfect out of the box, and most certainly Mozilla doesnt care to remove proprietary tracking addons from their store.

Lets gather some more addons that you should not install!

It would be helpful to have a description of WHY these add-ons should not be added on.

This list without details on why each addon is cursed isn't very useful.

Why is Ghostery on this list?

As far as I remember they sold user data and show unwanted pop-ups. There are definitely better options out there.

Ah I see, I'll remove them right now. Though, I do like the no consent feature to decline cookies.

Disconnect was the better alternative in the past, but I think uBO fully covers all its features now.

i use "Cookie Autodelete" and "I still don't care about cookies" for that.

I still don’t care about cookies does not decline cookies. It gives consent to those it can't hide the banners of. And in doing so gives consent to their practices.

Maybe not an issue for sites you visit anonymously. But when you log in or are otherwise traceable, you're consenting to their practice.

I've never installed addons that automatically give consent. The uBlock Origin lists cover most websites anyway.
