Is that an indication that yes he leaked it, but there is no one senior enough to actually suspend him unless the Thais do?

He's just an employee of Red Bull GmbH. He can be fired like any other employee and if he's causing harm to the image of the Red Bull brand (racist comments apparently weren't enough), I don't think even the Austrians would want to support him.

Meh, money rules all. If he can make someone money he'll get supported.

Look at that shitbox from the top gear TV series. He beat up his producer. Got fired and within a year was doing better than ever.
