Same difference. Most people don't need any of those applications.
i care because i use some of them
If you're into pro video editing and animation, you have to switch software if on Linux. If that's too complicated, requires too much time or you can't get any plugins for the software you use, than yes, Linux is not for you.
But, let's face it, for your every day Joe, Linux is just fine.
