I've definitely had it looking it up, but I never considered that was the name lol... for a second there I thought maybe you were talking about something similar to "spicy marriage" AKA

meat"husband and wife lung pieces" (absolutely delicious)

Around here, the Amerikkkanized Chinese food places use "happy family" to refer to a mix of basically everything they have in the kitchen in a brown sauce. The specific ingredients vary by place, but it's usually

meatat least beef, chicken, and shrimp, with slightly nicer places adding pork and/or scallops, maybe some imitation crab

with whatever veggies they have lying around. Carrots, bok choy, broccoli, mushrooms, cucumber, green beans, anything.
