Honestly not SUPER challenging for this game, but a perfect level clear does take some skill.

You do the full run challenge thing? Where you have to beat like 18 levels in a row? I was close and then died on the second to last level.
I ain't bad enough for that, farthest I got was like level 4 before I run out of ammo and die
I cheesed it with one of the artillery mechs and a high ammo machine gun IIRC. You can blow up a bunch of shit with a large AOE and use the machine gun to clear small targets not worth wasting a shell over. You rely on melee to destroy buildings and whatnot (just not ones that explode).
I've been meaning to try it again with one of the big mechs that has multiple auto-attacking weapons (I just unlocked a few). I think those harder challenges are meant to be done with the ones that get four weapons.
I was playing with Preator with Konning and Scimitar, so a similar build but Konning chugs ammo. I did alright.
