all analogue nowhere characters are unreliable narrators and the actual plot is just a mixture of truth and brain chip glitch hallucinations

Hmm.... there are a lot of references that a current CS student isn't going to get. More like an oldschool hacker (in the traditional sense of the word) whose mind is going. But I hope you don't go that route, because "it was all just a dream" is a cliche.
