I feel very, very sorry for you, then. If you were younger I'd have more hope you'd look back on what you are right now and be glad you're not like that anymore.

I remember being pissed off at the world when I was much younger but grew out of it.

Not caring about human suffering isn't the same thing as "growing out of it."
