There does exist biological plastic made of plants. That might work as an equivalent to e cigarettes
What it's made from is irrelevant. Plastic doesn't break down in the gut and can cause dangerous blockages.
True but micro plastics is extra bad I think
Micro plastics come from the balls.
I put them in my stir fry, it really makes the noodles pop.
Weren't the first plastics made of the original biopolymer? Celluloid from cellulose?
Fair. Both are sufficiently ancient, but cellulose bearing species diverged earlier chitin bearing ones. Exact timing on it tho is nebulous. So either will do.
I only mention cellulose specifically because it is the historic precursor to the first man made plastic, celluloid. But there are now processes to convert chitin to chitosan, which is a moldable plastic.
