Oct 7...women being horribly [R]ed....

Get new material.

I wish "journalists" would get past their stupid ass questions and start asking things like, "What are you going to do about the fact that the genocide may very well cost you the election?" though. Stop begging for the obvious truth to be denied yet again and start fucking asserting it instead.

Thanks. Not the original article I saw about it, I believe, but includes the gist of the situation. And the important bit: the quote from her father.

My dear departed grandmothers (whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics.

Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.

her dad is a Marxist economist and probably embarrassed that his daughter is a lib queen

He explicitly and publicly distanced himself from her when she spouted racist shit about Jamaicans and weed.

Yeah. They went absolutely "above and beyond" in their counting, meeting standards that aren't demanded or adhered to like anywhere else, ever.

Real attempts to appease the liberal propaganda machine. Which failed anyway, of course. But gotta admire the diligence and care put in. That takes a lot of discipline, especially in these circumstances.

That executive order Genocide Joe just signed seems like a pretty good start to that, yeah.

John Mearsheimer and Jeffrey Sachs | All-In Summit 2024 (1h video)

Their liberalism shows through quite a bit: they "love liberal democracy" and line-go-up and all that. Still some good discussion regarding Ukraine, Russia, China, India, Iran, and Palestine/Isntrael.

So...do other entities have the right to target civilians then, Matty Boy?

They are often pretty distractable, TBH, at least in an offline situation. Get someone with a great deal of patience to pull them off and humor their dumb ass and keep them out of everyone else's hair. Possibly take turns to keep your distractor's head from exploding.

I used this idea as a rhetorical device with my lib dad to pretty good effect....

That makes sense. Similarly, asking why the U.S. (and many other places) refused to accept (many) Jewish refugees from the Nazi Holocaust but do support the Zionist project often gets those juices flowing a bit. (Though a bit different, of course, because places SHOULD accept all kinds of refugees and other immigrants; just similar in terms of highlighting hypocrisy, propaganda, etc.)

Fair enough. There's a difference between having them examine the reasoning and history and actually advocating for the different location. I've actually seen people do the latter in places like reddit-logo , so I probably knee-jerked a bit. LOL.

I mean, also:

  1. Ethno-states ALWAYS bad.
  2. How would it secure the hegemony of (U.S.) empire in the Middle East from the middle of Germany? I think people who suggest shit like this mistake what Israel's purpose is.

Later, in the chat replay...

Carlos Rodriguez $10.00
Do you want to speak with a real Israeli to get a very different perspective?

When Hasbara slides by in real time. pigpoop

Dude criticizes The View (for being anti-gun), and conservatives (especially for climate denialism), and how we're all divided through propaganda in order to keep us from blaming "the politicians and the elite" in power, and talks about how bosses often try to keep us from sharing e.g. wage info with our fellow workers....

He literally has "praxis" in the name of the channel, and this particular video is called "Why You're Weak" (no, he's not talking about working out).

His solution is building community, forming relationships, and building "consensus" (even uses that term).
