i know it does in fact suck for cis women with short hair! but they are not the target!

In the same way that "Anti-immigrant" legislation just ends up being used as a cudgel against anyone with an unseasonable tan, I see a lot of the TERF shit (particularly the really deep "Every celebrity is Trans!" conspiracy-tier discourse) as this method of excusing harassment of anyone who looks remotely queer.

Okay but 16 is less than half of 35

More seriously, they do have F-16s with robot brains. They're called Predators and they're terrifying, particularly when employed inside a defensive perimeter.

But they're not great at power projection. F-22s/35s are built for extended range.

There's inevitably a centrist take that amounts to "There's a secret shadowy organization behind the news article telling you the F-35 is bad, and its intentions are even worse!"

But the end result is a pedantic argument over some functionally unknowable question of which overpriced, badly engineered Pentagon vanity project is the biggest waste of money. Less MIC leg-humping and more "Um, aktuly, you've fallen for Pentagon 11D chess!" contrarianness.

I pop in to the Chapo discord and there's always at least one guy who is die-hard "Aktuly the F-35 is a really good program and the naysayers are just in the bag for the F-22, so you shouldn't listen to them."

Incidentally, I've also heard all the critics of Boeing are being paid by Airbus.

I always think of the old city when I imagine Beijing. Plus, my brain automatically injects smog into the memory.

What an incredible view and a perfect day.

Alright, which Chinese city is this?

Its usually very easy to clean stainless steel. The crusty stuff falls right off with a good sponge or brush. Cast iron pans take a bit more work, but they're study enough to stand up to a tough bristle-brush without scraping.

Its those cheapo "no-stick" pans that break down as you use them and make everything impossible to get off.

I mean, the police spokesmodel charged with disseminating German state agitprop?

Or the random chud cop running around in ten tons of tacti-cool SWAT gear?

You'd get some bullshit about the Palestinian Conference being a hotbed of terrorism and extremism that threatens Germany's national security from the former. You might even get some memelord-inspired claims about actual Hamas Terror Fighters being in attendance or a rumor of bomb making material on site.

From the latter? I imagine the best you'd get was "They were breaking the law" and "Listen, we're just doing our jobs to try and keep you safe."

Western backed fascist dictatorships just can't quit.

U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney on Thursday sentenced Tyler Laube to time served, totaling 35 days he had spent in pretrial custody.

Prosecutors had recommended a six-month sentence.

Laube pleaded guilty last year to a misdemeanor charge for repeatedly punching a journalist — identified only as F.T. — who was covering the Huntington Beach rally.

In his plea agreement, Laube admitted to associating with members of the Rise Above Movement, which represented itself as a “combat-ready, militant group of a new nationalist white supremacy and identity movement.”

Online games will now be banned from giving players rewards if they log in every day, if they spend on the game for the first time or if they spend several times on the game consecutively. All are common incentive mechanisms in online games.

The new rules revealed on Friday are the most explicit yet aimed at curbing in-game spending. Besides banning reward features, games are also required to set limits on how much players can top up their digital wallets for in-game spending.

Games are also banned from offering probability-based lucky draw features to minors, and from enabling the speculation and auction of virtual gaming items.

His voice cracking at times, he said that’s why he worked so hard to see the national security aid pass the Senate this month, insisting “America’s global leadership is essential.”
