Yeah. I use it for ctrl, shift, enter, etc.

Yes, I still moderate a subreddit which is a support group for a particular surgery. There isn't such a community on the fediverse and the group of people who need this surgery seem to be few in number here too. (Won't be any more specific about the nature of the subreddit or surgery for privacy reasons, before anyone asks)
Anna's Archive has some torrents they ask people to seed. I'm seeding a smaller one right now. You can look into that if you want to help out—nobody's expected to mirror the entire archive!
It's not paranoid to complain about the unnecessity of javascript when all you want to do is read a public text post on a social media platform. I have javascript disabled on some browsers, and it's annoying to have to whitelist a site that really shouldn't need it.
I still use Discord, but once I get round to setting up my own Matrix server I'll set up a Discord bridge with my most important friend group servers and move off it for good.
idk about "favourite", but the ones I use, which are all perfectly adequate for my needs: LibreWolf on desktop, Mull and/or Vanadium on mobile, DDG
If they were publicising those videos that sounds illegal to me. If I printed off a copyrighted book for my own personal use, that would be legal. If I started distributing my own reprints of a copyrighted book without permission, the copyright holder could go after me. The businesses can hold copyrighted material without distributing them and not be in breach of the law.
swaylock + swayidle, using wlopm to turn my monitors off after 5 minutes (and lock after 6 minutes, but if I'm going away from the computer I lock it myself with a keyboard shortcut anyway). I try to turn off the computer if I'm away for a while though, as I have full disk encryption.
Political organising and the occasional house party/social event. Sometimes I just go for a walk/wander about, have found some interesting places that way.
Nobody here in the UK is getting away without being caught by police though.
PA UK do "get away with" actions all the time, it depends on the type. You can just check their social media, if they post about an action without asking for police station support that means the actionists weren't arrested. Obviously some occupation-type actions like lockons they can't do without getting arrested otherwise that defeats the point of occupying a factory for as long as you can if you run away.
Damn. That's really sad. I hope Syncthing-Fork doesn't get discontinued. I'll have to change how I do my password management if I can't use syncthing on Android
