I've done shadowing of other roles at a couple jobs. Honestly it's kinda fun, you learn a lot about other peoples problems so you can do your job better but also it's pretty fun, like getting a whole new job for a day

The randomly fired 2 people on my team one morning. I think we're doing the evil shit Amazon does with stack ranking. It's so toxic. Fuck this place, you only get the bare minimum now. Anyone know of any software engineering unions?

How do you think Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Jacob etc feel named after made up Bible characters?

 

I'm thinking about starting a rumor at work about a bonus. Eg "does anyone else know what's going on with the mid quarter bonus?" There is no bonus but wondering if a rumor gets started if it can cause management to maybe give one because of employee expectations. Do you think this will work?
