I answered an unknown number recently because it was from an area code I was expecting a call. It turned out to be a pollster, at least they presented themselves as such. The first few questions seemed reasonable, but then it quickly became obvious that it was a call supporting someone running for local office pretending to be a poll. I was not going to vote for that person to begin with, but this was really disgusting.

Why couldn’t they just make a sequel to birds of prey? That movie was great and Margot Robbie was fantastic.

You’re right that it doesn’t mean cash on hand, but it does indicate they could liquidate some of that or borrow against it themselves.

Okay, that’s a fair point as to that comment not making it more sexist than racist, but not for it only being racist. I don’t see anything in the story pointing to race over sex.

If you want to change the system and think you can do it from within, the primaries are the time. If you don’t think you can do it from within, do it from without and have your revolution on the streets—dont spoil the candidate that more closely aligns with your views.

Almost exactly the same happened to me (though I had uploaded exactly one innocuous video a few months earlier) recently and my appeal was accepted within a couple days

What in the joke makes him racist but not misogynistic?

There’s nothing in the joke saying she’s either the only black person or the only woman in the bar. In fact you could say that there’s more pointing to him being misogynistic in that he says “this woman” and not “this black person”.

To me it reads as both

“Famous” is accurate, but change to “Infamous” and it’s perfect.

Absolutely. Home use is what got me interested in them in the first place. I love to DIY stuff (recently I’ve been building planar speakers from scratch) and had the crazy idea of building one for my house.

I’m very hopeful for flow batteries to improve to a point where they can be very cheaply installed at scale. Seems much better environmentally than lithium ion, and the drawbacks matter less for grid storage.
