The teacher explained it in this panel:

Being able to call lightning requires the power to manipulate clouds to make lightning, which happens to also let you manipulate the weather somewhat. She's been slowly drawing in the clouds and the typhoon so it arrived earlier than expected and thus goes away before the festival.

Adaptation needs to be stacked (which is very bad when an Eximus nukes you with electricity or heat at 0 stacks) and against most enemies will never actually provide 90% DR, but usually closer to 50-70%. Most enemy attacks will do a mix of all 3 of the base physical damage types and Adaptation will only adapt to the highest one, leaving the other two completely uncovered.

I just run the standard "every normal secondary in the game build" with multishot, crit mods and the 60/60 toxic/cold mods + primed heat mod. The only change is Hornet Strike is replaced with Anemic Agility, her 2 already gives you the same additive damage increase that mod does and Glory doesn't use ammo so fire rate is just a pure DPS increase on her.

[–] Keegen@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 days ago (3 children)

The base resistance from the ability does, but add to that Aviator, Boreal's Hatred and the Aerodynamic aura and you are approaching 90% damage reduction while airborne, which you are most of the time as Jade.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War. The manga itself is great but reading it live and discussing it on the old site elevated the experience even more. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the ending, everything else was just so good it's hard for me to give it anything but a 10.

While her quest has some... questionable implications, Jade herself is nothing but a stellar frame! Float around blasting enemies while having around 90% damage reduction, slow and armor strip anything you look at and give your allies and yourself some power strength or weapon damage. All around good stuff! Her flight is also way more controllable and comfortable than Titania, so if you don't want wall-clipping levels of speed this frame can be your "need to gather stuff from the air" frame instead!

Biblically accurate angel, the singing executioner, warframe pregnancies confirmed? - Jade!

Symphony of Mercy - Cycle through three songs that strengthen allies. Power of The Seven increases Ability Strength. Deathbringer increases Weapon Damage. Spirit of Resilience increases Shield Effectiveness. Extend the duration of each song by killing enemies surrounded by Judgments.
Ophanim Eyes - Jade summons an accusatory gaze that slows nearby enemies and dissolves their Shields and Armor. When the gaze falls upon allies, they can be revived from a distance.
Glory on High - Soar with destructive power. Use alternate-fire to detonate Judgments, causing an explosion of Jade Light. Enemies inside the Light's Judgment radius empower the explosion.

Seasonal death counter: 3 (+0, no deaths this episode - good job Subaru!)

Four witch cultists at once! And all the Royal Selection candidates just happened to be invited at the same time, huh? No conspiracy present here, no sir! Poor Garf is dealing with some serious trauma, man was still working through his defeat by Elsa and now he finally found his mother only for her to completely forget him! At least he has an emotional support chibi catgirl for moral support.

Do it! It's what I did while the anime was still airing after being disappointed with the human side of it and hearing from LN readers how much better it was in the source (it really is). The Light Novels are all released and translated too, so you can go through the entire thing without having to wait! (the pain of waiting for the next Overlord and Slime volume is almost enough to make me consider learning Japanese...)

It's been over half a year since his release and the previous time he appeared on Weekly Warframe, and given he was the next frame in line anyway I thought it's a good idea to revisit the owl librarian (especially as we only have 2 frames left!)

This guy turned out to be incredible, even post his LoS nerfs (he was OP before, they were more than warranted). Insane overguard generation for the entire team, slash procs everywhere and a way to cash in all that DoT damage instantly for a huge nuke. Noctua can either be a weapon capable of nuking crowns by itself or an incredible utility tool for Dante if slotted with all of the Tome mods. One of the best caster frames in general, if you want to just spam abilities and completely ignore your weapons Dante is your frame!

The eldritch storyteller, works out in a library, overguard overload - Dante!

Release date: 2024-03-27

Passive: Enemies slain by Noctua’s primary fire, alt-fire, and page fragments are scanned into the Codex upon death, with each enemy death recording 1 scan entry. Enemy types with completed Codex research become permanently debuffed with Chronicler’s Mark, which grants Dante’s equipped weapons, including the Noctua itself, and Final Verse’s Wordwarden Noctua copies an extra 50% Status Chance versus these foes.
Noctua - Open Noctua, Dante’s Exalted Tome, and unleash a tale of woe upon his enemies.
Light Verse - Dante’s vitalizing composition grants him and his allies Overguard and increases their Max Health.
Dark Verse - Dante’s composition draws blood from nearby enemies, inflicting Slash Damage upon them.
Final Verse - Dante must compose two other Verses before his Final Verse.

Acquisition: Main and component can be obtained from Rotation C of Disruption Armatus on Deimos.

We got an OP and an ED this episode and they are AWESOME! Best enjoy them while we can, if S2 was anything to go by we won't be seeing them very often. Death counter is up to 3 now. I forgot how delightfully insane the archbishops of sin are. Poor Subaru not only barely has any time to plan with how close to Wrath showing up his "checkpoint" is, he has to deal with Greed as well! It sure looks like we're gonna be going through plenty of resets!

I still haven't gotten Qorvex to this day. His kit didn't look very fun or interesting to me, and nothing he could accomplish looked particularly impressive compared to other frames I already had. He can explode groups with his 1 + 4 combo but as soon as the enemy density becomes anything less than Steel Path survival he falls off hard. Not a big fan of the guy.

Containment Wall - Contain the threat. Qorvex summons walls that slam together, damaging all enemies caught between them and inflicting Radiation Status.

It's back! I finally managed to find enough time to watch the entire thing in one go, I didn't expect them to drop an entire MOVIE LENGTH first episode on us like that! So much going on, so many plot threads. Poor Subaru almost managed to make it through the entire 1,5h without dying.
