I mean I can't really blame them for being smaller, the USB port is a lot of value added but is also pretty huge.

They make USB rechargeable lithium ion batteries in every common form factor. I use lithium rechargeable AAA batteries in my mouse and they work great. You don't even need a charger, they are USB-C. Highly recommend.

They do sell all of the components online though and at good prices. It's not hard to get replacement parts. I've even seen Voron and ratrig people making mods to use bambulabs spare parts in their custom machines because they are way more affordable than comperable high performance parts from other sources.

I use my front facing camera to see under things all the time. It's very useful, even though I don't take selfies. I'm an engineer though so I probably spend more time looking under things than most.

in that price range you can get a bambulabs X1 carbon, which is an extremely high performance and high reliability machine. If you want to save a bit, the P1P is also really good.

I am a hardcore custom printer guy who loves building everything themselves, but even I have to admire this machine.

Don't listen to people recommending ender 3s or anything creality, but prusas are also a good option, if a bit outdated.

I don't have a small hand, this is just wide angle and a very big pickaxe.

It's been done a lot, but its kinda pointless as any noise improvements from the shape are obliterated by the bad surface finish.

Ayy another vc3500 haver. I use a .6mm bondtech CHT volcano, but honestly I've been having trouble getting past 30mm^3 per second, which is unfortunate. My main goal with it is actually giant parts, but the mass production thing is pretty cool too.

it is fortunately fully enclosed, which makes the heating a lot more efficient. It definitely still warms the room up though.

Only if I remove the spool holder. It's designed to fit basically exactly through a standard door.

Just finished building this beast. It's a ratrig Vcore 3.1 with a 500x500x500mm build volume and blazing speed.
