DPRK flag spotted in Ukraine. Mil summary YT 10:20s

They say its just Russian trolling for now. The narrative seems like ever increasing Russian cope which I don't understand why, I admit its wierd but also I don't quite think someone right at the front(see the video geolocation) has time or reason to be bothering with internet memes, just a weird situation imo, why would you carry a DPRK flag around just in case?

To me this seems like the funniest narrative of the past year imo. Its going to be so funny to watch all these silly mil bloggers experts trying to justify the extremely obvious reasons why DPRK was willing to send some small amount of troops.

Meanwhile SK is officially taking the matter seriously South Korea summons Russian envoy to protest North Korea troop dispatch.

Related article from Michael Roberts(Marxist economist) mostly on these same criticisms.

IMF and BRICS: no return to Bretton Woods(10/20/2024)

IMF is worried about growing inequality and poverty and wants some form of change which we know wont happen.

Meanwhile BRICS is actually just Chinese economic dominance, there are still internal conflicts, no US-China decoupling yet and as a result dedollarization is debunk(so far) as everyone still defaults to the USD.

How long would you survive as president if the first thing you did was to remove "In god we trust" and the cartoon evil pledge of allegiance.

lol Ian with a history of going so hard against cheaters even without concrete evidence but then he doesn't even wait 2 seconds to go out and immidiately defend this as overreaction.

Putin submitted the draft of the agreement with the DPRK just this week. This is a good time for circunstancial evidence like this.

Yes this seems quite clear if its all true the DPRK wants field experience and it may have been what was already agreed back in June. If Russia is truly commiting to a defensive alliance with the DPRK then its not at all unlikely Ukraine war cooperation was part of the deal.

I also don't understand why people want to be so opposite to this idea, the DPRK is doing exactly what China should be doing imo. One country is arming and preparing for war while the other watches the world burn and decides now is the time to get in bed with Wall Street while crying US bad every UN meeting.

As for your point on stability, I wonder the significant of these recent SK drones crossing the border not because of stupid pamphlets, but because its obvious at the very least SK may have learned from Ukrainian tactics. These are quite obvious field tests and could be a warning sign.

I think one thing that should be mentioned about drones is that Russia is not omnipotent and has suffered from the occasional successful Ukrainian drone attacks, indeed some hits on Russian airbases was a terrible look e.g Morozovsk recently. Russia says there was no damage but you're shifting the goal post Ukrainians and the west are stupid and incompetent and shouldn't have managed to even get there remember? Famous Russian cope exists from the very start of the war too.

Of course it doesn't mean Ukraine is winning(or is even capable) but these are lessons that must be learned like the fact Russia lost a number of ships now. Doesn't change the war but it shapes the future understanding of war.

I'm willing to bet the DPRK understands this threat now can't be ignored. The same kind of strikes on DPRK infrastructure could be devastating so the logical conclusion is the DPRK wants to be ready for a snap war declaration if such an incident happens. It doesn't have to mean they're willing to go on the offensive overnight for no reason, but that they'll take no excuses or justifications for SK aggression.

That article is from last year and since then NVDIA is now "worth" 11% of the US GDP as a consequence, so I can kind of understand how you can see this as some sort of "miracle".

What is the opposite of capitalism realism? Capitalist absurdism? We are increasingly seeing events and trends that defy even previous well established mainstream rethoric.

Surely they're already believing or soon will turn into the old too big to fail rethoric, everyone prepares for the crash that never comes. When it does come its not a crash at all but a "pullback" only. The line only goes up, you may lose all your money but as long as Blackrock servers keep running the HFT algos Wall Street will be open every weekday at 9am.

At some point yeah, its like believing no matter what happens the church will always be there etc. There is some argument the closer we are to climate collapse the more we will regress towards fantasy escapist beliefs. The world is shit but AI will save us is just what a 14th century peasant would be saying about the church and god during the Bubonic plague. We haven't changed.

I'm not sure if its smart to give him any credit and I'm definitely not going to check on his work, but that graph just lining up perfectly with these major events seem both very compelling and too good to be true.

Yeah China gives too much of a shit about global opinion. They absolutely should stop pandering to this international rules shit they do so fucking often.

Like literaly who cares about US cyber attacks when you should be the one hacking the US to shit. We need escalation and retaliation against the US not appeals to liberal civil order shit. But China loves to do this and the worst part is I think they believe it works lol.

Pointing to American hypocrisy is a low hanging fruit and quite meaningless at this point.

Flight sim is probably the most expensive PC game category except from maybe whaling in certain games for lootboxes.

A large storage drive is a given for most, even sometimes dedicated drives and its not that expensive these days. It realy isn't 2000-10's anymore, storage is incredibly cheap now. Have a main OS SSD + 1 dedicated storage HDD is a given.

My experience with XP11 is that the barrier is the knowledge and dedication to do custom scenery(ortho) compared to what MSFS gives out of the box. You're paying quite a premium for MSFS's convenience and massive coverage.

the zionists are living in fantasyland to think Gaza being theirs could turn this shit around. what, they'd get to build offshore oil rigs in a decade or two? how is that going to replace the people and materiel it loses to take it?

Nobody ever accused fascists of being remotely rational or sane.

But at the same time a settler colonial project fundamentally includes land occupation, its the #1 requirement.

Looks like the "tankies" were once again proven to be correct when we said that this conflict wasn't about freedumb.

You're not wrong but I think this was obvious when every AP news article couldn't avoid showing a photo of a Ukrainian soldier wearing a swastika back in June 2022 or something.

We're far beyond the point liberals care about Ukraine either way lol.

I just got this randomly by the algo lol. I know nothing of him or his channel.

Despite the bad introduction he gets there about 10-15 minutes in. Of course there is no reason to watch a random guy talk for 40 minutes but I do think it is kind of bittersweet, personally I liked that he cares about the dog.

The ultimate reason? American healthcare is demoralizing even for people who are the top of the elite experts in their field. Some of them end up deeply unhappy, traumatized even. The contradictions are obvious, so extremely obvious its not just impossible not to notice but not feel bad about it.

Moral of the story? Most people are not privileged enough to just quit but if you find yourself in this situation and you can do it, actually consider it. This capitalist world isn't worth your personal sacrifice, no matter how good your intentions.

A long endorsement of open source software before announcing he will be making Godot tutorials now.

Might be a good incentive to switch or try out game dev if you're new btw.

I prefers the term of Dialectical Materialism simulator.

It’s a fantasy game for closet commies, as HOI IV is for closet Nazis or Wehraboos in the end

I'm not bothering to read much of this(500 comments?), but after a few minutes quick glance its the usual fairly above average positive response as usual.

I wonder if it is because with the game becoming less popular again most of the mainstream is gone already.

22 December 2023 Amazon may no longer sell its own wifi routers in Germany, as they infringe a Wifi 6 patent from Huawei. This was decided by Munich Regional Court last week following the oral hearing. The ruling does not affect the sale of third-party wifi routers via the Amazon platform.

Two European subsidiaries of Amazon and Eero – a manufacturer of wifi routers also owned by Amazon – have infringed European patent EP 3334112 and may now no longer sell Wifi-6-capable products in Germany. The Regional Court Munich handed down this ruling on December 15, on the same day as the hearing.

Huawei had sued for injunctive relief, information and accounting, destruction, recall and damages (case ID: 7 O 10988/22).

However, the ruling only affects wifi routers that Amazon and Eero manufacture themselves, such as the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k. Other manufacturers may continue to sell their products via the Amazon platform.

Potential damages Huawei can enforce the judgment against a security deposit totaling €4.5 million. Amazon may appeal against the judgment, and this is considered likely. However, the court has not justified its surprisingly quick decision in writing yet. According to JUVE Patent information Amazon has not yet filed an appeal.

If the ruling stands, Amazon would have to compensate Huawei for the damages it has suffered since 19 March 2020. According to JUVE Patent information, Amazon has not thus far filed a nullity action against EP 112, but has concentrated on the FRAND defence.

Four claims against Amazon The judgment is part of a larger dispute over Wifi 6 patents. Huawei has also sued Amazon over another Wifi 6 patent in Munich (case ID: 7 O 10987/22). The court will hear this case in March 2024. In Düsseldorf and Munich, Huawei sued Amazon over a Wifi 5 patent, but the courts have not yet set a date for the oral hearing.

Huawei is also taking action against Fritzbox manufacturer AVM with two infringement suits at the Regional Court Munich. In November, according to press reports the court ordered AVM to cease and desist. The court was of the opinion that Wifi-6-capable AVM products infringed Huawei’s EP 3 337 077. AVM has since appealed against the ruling.

In addition, Huawei sued other companies such as Netgear and automotive group Stellantis. The Chinese company sued the former at Düsseldorf Regional Court. Huawei sued Stellantis back in 2022 over mobile phone patents that play a role in car connectivity. The Netherlands-based company manufactures about six million cars a year under the Fiat, Opel, Peugeot and Citroën brands.

Huawei turns to UPC While Huawei only sued Amazon and AVM in German patent courts, the Chinese company escalated its dispute with Netgear to the Unified Patent Court in July. Previously, Huawei had not had much success at Düsseldorf Regional Court. The court had dismissed one of Huawei’s lawsuits and suspended the second.

Huawei’s lawsuit at the Munich local division was one of the first SEP proceedings at the new court (case ID: ACT_459771/2023). According to the website www.upc.beetz.nl Netgear recently has filed a counter claim of revocation with the UPC.

Where are the "but but ze seeseepee only steals our technology!111!!" responses now lol.

Being a Unity tutorial maker in 2023 sounds like pain right now lol.

I do have to say the joker part is a bit silly, I've used Unity before as a hobbyist and Unity Engine is fine IMO, more than fine even compared to the alternatives. Every engine has problems, pick the right tool for the job.

Unity Technologies, the piece of shit company is the problem.
