Isn't Transnitria petty aligned with Russia? Do you think there would be escalation in separatism from this?

Ah, I hadn't followed the balance of payments very closely. Thanks for the update!

I mean, they could earn dollars by selling to the global South that is dollar-laden, but then they've have to sell at rates closer to the non-imperialized value.

I'm generously imagining scenarios where they already had these bikes and they have sentimental value. But still, I'm sure it is entirely practicable to put them in their apartment with little to no expense and they're just an asshole.

$5 is a small enough amount of money that if it's all you need you can get it basically whenever you want if you try even a little. They could even just ask OP for it.

For example, they have two bikes. They could use one of those bikes one time to do a food delivery. They are basically saying that making everyone else deal with this hassle and a fire hazard for years isn't worth 30 minutes of riding the bikes they presumably ride all the time for work and/or exercise.

No money to put in a hook ($5) or bike rack ($50) but owns two bikes.

I'm so sorry. I hope you regain contact soon and can be as strong as you can.

The explosion in housing costs is due to economic rent paid to finance with intermediaries like landlords and NIMBY groups. As a financialized asset new housing is only built under the expectation of not just profit, but rapidly accelerating profit, with the lendor using the collateral to make overleveraged trades. Existing housing benefits from this upward pressure and the limit it places on new housing, which must now compete for space and location with other financialized real estare ventures like bazinga-filled office buildings and a third Starbucks in a 4-block radius.

This would all still happen even if rich people paid more taxes. It is an outcome of financialized housing, itself a direct product of capitalism, particularly neoliberalism.

Also the fact that they're all white is really telling on itself. Everyone else has had to deal with this sooner and in greater extremes but they only care when it impacts enough white people.

Yes it is acetic acid! You will get some strange flavors from trying to neutralize with lye or baking soda though. You will have basically added salt, removed acidity, and kept some of the vinegar essence.

Don't worry about the pisswater you can concentrate it again by boiling!
