I have almost 3,400 hours on the game, and I have heavily modded it, and yet I have only completed the game once. Never once, have I thought of supporting The Legion at all, and it was the game that helped me realize I am Asexual, since I never felt the need to pick any of the perks that add attraction to the opposite or same sex (I wish there was an Asexual equivalent where instead of 10% Damage against all humans, you take 10% less damage from those same people).

My most recent memory is one time, I was fighting a Radscorpion, when a Mole Rat appeared and helped me against it, due to me having the Animal Friend perk. The Mole Rat thankfully lived, and I wish the Animal Friend Perk gave me dialogue options to pet animals.

Overall, given the game has themes of Anti Capitalism, the benefits of Mutual Aid and Positives of Anarchism, as well as being anti Slavery and the game encouraging you to dislike The Legion, as well as having well written LGBTQIA+ Characters, I would highly recommend the game.

Also my character has a glorious purple anime mane.

Just a few things from the article:

They're running out of money. (That's nothing a few more ships for sale can't solve )

Cult-leader Chris orders them to make game-defining changes on a daily basis that fucks up everything for weeks. (It's Chris' world after all, you're just living in it )

Besides just the main game and Squadron 42, they also have a third game (medieval fantasy) in development that uses the backer's funds as well.

Went to one of the towns and bought new armor for my wizard, a gardcorp. Trying to level up to buy my first spell, but ofc this is a kmmorpg so there's a grind.

Through my years of mmo and rpg gaming I've tended to swing between the two extremes of the warrior/wizard dynamic.

Some days I just want to be a dumb tank in full armor soaking up hits and acting as a wall for squishier classes. But then there's days where I love being a glass cannon that can kill something in 1-2 nukes but a strong breeze can kill me.

The least fun I've head with a class was as a healer druid in Everquest. Something so stressful about the party relying on you for heals and if you wipe it's generally your fault. idk how people dedicate themselves to a class like that.
